CIDB ASSESSMENT THROUGH METHOD 1A
Construction Project Management is a professional discipline that separates the project management function from those of design and implementation functions.
Construction Project Management is defined as management that involves development, change and innovation in operational works that encompass activities such as overall planning, coordination and control of construction projects from commencement to completion.
Its aim is to fulfill the client’s needs in generating a construction project that is physically functional, completed within stipulated project duration and complying to set costing, quality and standards.
Determination of Eligibility for Construction Project Managers Signing Form G Under the Uniform Building By-Laws (UBBL) 1984 (Amendment 2021)
Industry players must ensure compliance with the UBBL 1984 (Amendment 2021) when determining the eligibility of a Construction Project Manager authorized to sign Form G. Failure to comply may result in the Certificate of Completion and Compliance (CCC) being rejected by the Local Authority, delaying project approvals and occupancy permits.
This highlights the critical importance of engaging a Certified Construction Project Manager, as their certification ensures competency, accountability, and compliance with the latest regulations.
